Erik W. Berger was born in Pittsburgh, PA and received his undergraduate degree in Political Science and Economics from the Thiel College in Greenville, Pennsylvania in 1993, where he played Varsity Basketball for four years. He is also a 1996 graduate of Duquesne University School of Law in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Erik is admitted to practice in the states of Florida and Pennsylvania, along with the Northern, Southern and Middle Federal District Courts of Florida and in the Western Federal District of Pennsylvania.
Prior to concentrating his practice representing disabled individuals, he was engaged in civil trial practice and litigation. Since 1998 Mr. Berger’s practice has primarily focused on representing individuals attempting to obtain Social Security disability benefits at both the Administrative and Federal Court appeal levels. Mr. Berger also assists individuals who are attempting to obtain or have been denied Long Term disability benefits.
Erik is a member of the state bar associations of Florida and Pennsylvania, along with the Federal Bar Association. He is also a sustaining member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimant’s Representative (NOSSCR), the American Bar Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
